The role
We are looking to recruit an Interim HR Improvement Coordinator to join our HR Team on a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess current system structure/utilization and provide feedback and course correction on functionality.
* Manage, document, and improve our current Iris Cascade HRIS system, maximizing functionality to enhance UK processes.
* Align and implement employee lifecycle processes, procedures, and systems within the UK region.
* Develop standardized training manuals for the HR Helpdesk UK and employee lifecycle activities such as preparing starter/leaver correspondence, changes to terms and conditions, maternity/paternity/unpaid leave requests, probation letters, and payroll changes.
* Monitor the effectiveness of the HR Helpdesk (Top Desk) and develop a workable ticket system to improve overall functionality and response time.
* Develop an action tracker and project plan to be reviewed with key stakeholders for continuous improvement of the HR administration process.
* Depending on the skills of the successful candidate, the role may also involve managing a team of five Operations Advisers/Helpdesk Administrators who are the key point of contact for HR queries and requests for employees and managers.
Skills and Experience
* Iris Cascade HRIS knowledge (highly desirable)
* Excellent literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
* A proactive and ‘can do’ approach.
* Results/delivery focus.
* Ability to take personal responsibility for making things happen.
* Desire for continuous improvement.
* Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
* Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel) and ability to quickly learn different IT systems. Ideally good knowledge of Cascade HRIS and Topdesk systems. Agresso/SAP software experience desirable but not essential.
