We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, with an emphasis on empathy, respect, and professionalism.
Duties:
-Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
-Support residents with daily living activities in their homes or care facilities.
-Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition.
-Assist with behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being.
-Offer companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a trusting relationship.
-Drive residents to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
-Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
-Maintain accurate records of residents progress and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Experience:
-Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
-A valid driving licence is required for transporting residents as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:

-We are offering full time contracts, guaranteed hours of up to 37.5hrs per week with the opportunity to work overtime. Working hours are shifts of 7am-2.30pm, 2pm-9.30pm including alternate weekends.
