What you’ll be doing:
* Collaborating with teams including Marketing, Product, UX/Design, and Developers to plan A/B tests, define requirements, and document hypotheses, variations, and problem statements to be tested.
* Creating and maintaining a clear prioritised backlog, and owning and shaping analytics roadmaps, which will improve the maturity of the company.
* Supporting the tagging processes and implementation, using Google Tag Manager for analytics, marketing, and attribution teams.
* Collaborating with, and influencing, product teams to make more informed data-guided decisions.
* Identifying commercial opportunities, making recommendations to improve customer experience, loyalty and profitability from site/app usage data.
* Working with data scientists to identify and quantify the key drivers from new and established models that can be tracked, investigated and actioned.
* Managing data from its raw format to an output of a comprehensive dashboard, creating compelling, actionable and high-value bespoke analysis that allow for data storytelling and decision making.
* Communicating with and presenting to colleagues across marketing, commercial, finance and product.
What we’re looking for:
* A background in app and/or web analytics with an understanding of at least one marketing channel (e.g. PPC, Display, SEO or Email).
* Experience setting up A/B and MVT experiments, able to develop and test hypotheses (Optimizely preferred).
* Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.
* Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager (working knowledge of HTML and Javascript preferred).
* Advanced Knowledge of SQL with working knowledge of Google BigQuery and/or Databricks, and data visualisation in Tableau/Looker Studio or similar tools.
* Self-motivated, with a passion for differentiation and disruption, able to bring thought leadership and innovation to our organisation to effect top and bottom-line improvement.
* Strong business acumen and communication skills; able to articulate large amounts of information that are complex in nature to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to lead analytical projects, driving progress, prioritising workload, overcoming obstacles and taking accountability for outcomes.
* Ability to lead development of strategies and roadmaps to support business objectives, identifying opportunities, making use of available technology and identifying future opportunities.
