They consult and work with many of the leading drink groups on major sales, innovation, and brand marketing initiatives.
They are currently recruiting for an Account Manager with experience and passion in the drinks industry who will sit on their small and mighty client team who will build impactful partnerships with clients that adds value to their business and supports their ambitions. Day to day you will be working across a few key consulting projects and/or trade & consumer research projects as part of a small (2-4 person) project team, including a member of the strategy team who is responsible for much of the strategic thinking and insight work on their projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage or support the Directors on a range of client accounts day-to-day and in some cases be the first point of contact for these clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are managed and fulfilled.
2. Manage client relationships and project logistics, including timelines, deadlines, and communication – internally and externally.
3. Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the client, ensuring project reports and strategic implications are in line with the client, their culture and wider business needs.
4. Partner with their global network of drinks consultants and independent researchers, including tasks such as briefing the anchors on project requirements, chasing for data collection, setting up interview calls, problem solving, analysing sales data, and managing timelines and budgets.
5. Stay immersed in and on top of changing consumer behaviour and cultural trends, as well as relevant category news.
6. Grow and develop client relationships on an ongoing basis.
7. Partner with finance and operations on forecasting, resourcing, and project-related admin.
8. Support client and business development by identifying new opportunities, helping support pitches, and writing proposals.
9. Support in promoting the business through marketing and PR activities.
Requirements
1. 3 years + demonstrated experience as an Account Manager from a design, advertising, strategy or research agency with experience in the drinks industry.
2. Good appreciation for the world of consumer behaviour, brands, innovation and cultural trends.
3. An ability to thrive within an independent working environment, enjoying autonomy and learning as you go.
4. Great organisational/project management skills.
5. A team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
6. Personal enjoyment of socialising and enthusiasm for new drinks and flavours.
