ESR Senior Support Administrator Band 4 (with Annex 21 applied if trainee appointed)

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced ESR support administrator or an ESR end user who already has a good grounding in ESR or related workforce systems. This role sits in a progressive department that offers clear career opportunities and succession after training is completed.
We are looking for a forward thinking, innovative team player who is enthusiastic and who will establish themselves as a key point of reference for all matters relating to the support of the Trust's ESR (Electronic Staff Record) system.
You will be part of a small team working to support ESR users throughout ESHT. You will need to be able to prioritise work to deadlines as well as have excellent communication, organisational skills and high attention to detail. A good sense of humour is always an added bonus!
Main duties of the job
1. Prioritise and input confidential and sometimes sensitive staff changes and leavers into the HR System (ESR), ensuring correct authorisation and Finance approval where required. Ensure high level of accuracy to ensure the employee is paid correctly and to meet payroll deadlines.
2. Monitoring quality and accuracy of data received from Managers and other ESR Users, identifying and resolving any queries.
3. Provide specialist ESR system advice to users across the trust at all levels.
4. Provide support to ESR Employee Self Service users, including issuing usernames and passwords and assistance with initial access and navigation of the screens via email and user helpline.
5. Provide support to managers and ESR Supervisor Self Service users including how to gain access and navigation of the screen via the user helpline.

* English & Mathematics at GCSE level or equivalent
* Educated to diploma level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent knowledge plus proven recent experience
