You’ll help us make health happen by: Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care. Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, to assess the situation, to deal with resident seeking help and summon the senior care staff whenever necessary. Assist residents who need help with the activities of daily living; including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan. Help residents with mobility problems, including transferring residents using appropriate equipment and other physical disabilities, help with use and care of aids and personal equipment. Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care Being part of a team supporting the senior care assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting changes Communicating with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professional Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
