OUR GPS TEAM are looking for a Gaming Systems Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. The role of a Gaming Systems Engineer is to provide remote support for the gaming equipment and ancillary products within our casinos. The role is based from the Genting Wednesbury office. Key Competencies: • To effectively manage the day-to-day service calls logged by casinos relating to gaming system faults. • To be proactive in dealing with system issues and keep accurate records so these can be escalated. • To work with and have the workload assigned by the senior gaming systems engineer on a daily basis any ongoing issues that are not resolved same day. • To observe all security measures to ensure that our gaming systems meet all current security guidelines. • To ensure our systems are fully compliant with regards to current legislation and to ensure that these systems comply with current Health & Safety guidelines. • Ensure all internal and external customers are kept informed at all stages of progress with regards to system faults. • Assist the project team when required with machine system installs and gaming floor moves. • To adhere to company SLA targets in relation to gaming systems repairs. • To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time. • Ability to be self-motivated. • Be a problem solver. • A self-starter able to work autonomously yet also a team player. • Have a strong interest in IT and computing. • Have great communication skills. • Excellent computer skills are necessary with knowledge on a wide range of IT systems. Knowledge on Microsoft office product suite is necessary. • Ability to form strong working relationships across the business. 40 hours minimum per week – as necessary to meet business demands. Out of Hours support will be required from time to time.
