Demand Planning Manager for Global Consumer Organisation
Lead and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term forecasts for volume performance, creation performance, and margin performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Embedding volume and creation forecasting within the sales team using a granular, customer-focused approach
* Providing commercial leadership in the S&OP process, collaborating with supply and transformation leads
* Coordinating with the fulfilment performance manager to prioritize delivery based on customer type, profitability, and commercial strategy
* Collaborating with the operations team to identify logistical efficiencies within the short-term order pool
* Prioritizing customers based on profitability (in coordination with the head of commercial)
* Leading initiatives to improve customer master data and prevent supply outages
* Overseeing the CAPEX allocation process for new customer creation, working with sales and engineering
* Analyzing and incorporating market insights and external factors into demand planning
* Collaborating with the board on budgeting, planning, and results analysis
* Providing input on inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
The ideal candidate holds a degree and has over 3 years of experience in a demand planning role within an established S&OP cycle.
They possess strong analytical skills, with experience handling large data sets and a proven ability to develop demand forecasting systems.
The candidate has a successful track record of leading cross-functional teams without direct line management, and consistently meeting challenging targets and deadlines.
Strong communication, influencing, decision-making, and negotiation skills are essential. Additionally, they demonstrate strong financial awareness, effectively translating data insights into meaningful financial impact.
