A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area is recruiting an Estimator and Sales Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. First response with telephone and live web chat enquiries.
2. Taking responsibility for quotes assigned, complete pricing and design to the client's satisfaction.
3. Offering great customer service to help convert enquiries into sales.
4. Following up enquiries.
5. Reducing project costs to help gain sales (where necessary).
6. Actively seeking out new clients and opportunities.
7. Assisting Project Managers with pricing.
8. Attending internal department meetings.
9. Keeping drawing files and a custom project tracker programme up to date.
10. Assisting with general admin tasks.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Estimator and Sales Administrator position:
1. Previous sales/admin office experience.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Good eye for detail.
4. CAD experience desirable but not essential.
5. Can-do, positive attitude.
6. Joinery, building and construction industry experience would be advantageous but not essential.
7. Experience of Microsoft Office applications essential.
