We are looking for a keen and hard work individual to join us to provide a high level of service in an important role.
The position is Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 20:00, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 20+ that are responsible for Pharmacy deliveries including patient drugs, controlled drugs, fluids and stock drugs. They will also have to complete deliveries of medical and non-medical items received by the SGH's Goods In department. This role is vital to the patient experience and this role contributes to the world class level of care provided by this Trust.

Responsibilities will include:
To ensure the safe delivery of Pharmacy items, receiving signatures in accordance with departmental SOP’s [i.e. Controlled Drugs, Refrigerated items]
To deliver loaded Pharmacy boxes (weighing up to 25kg) to Ward / Department areas and collect empty Pharmacy boxes for return to B level
To deliver Sterile bulk Fluids to Ward / Department areas and put away in the designated areas
To distribute the ward stock items to the wards in preparation for Materials Management or Ward staff to put away
Obtain a signature from the end user on delivery of the items as an audit record, when required, via a handheld device or manual system.
