Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.45am-1.45pm, Term-time only + non pupil days)
Salary: Scale 5 point 9-12 (actual salary £15,927 - £16,051 per annum)
We have a vacancy for a Catering Manager to work within Cherry Tree Academy in Colchester. We need someone who is flexible, patient, a team player, can work at a fast pace and remain calm under pressure.
The successful candidate should:
1. Be able to manage and lead a small Catering Team
2. Supervise the preparation, cooking and serving of healthy school meals
3. Be able to place orders, complete food safety records and monthly stock counts
Applicants must hold relevant qualifications to NVQ Level 3 in Catering and ensure the operational efficiency, planning, preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the required standard within the budget limitations as agreed with the school management.
Cherry Tree is a one-form entry primary school in Colchester, catering for children 4-11 years old and is part of Inspires MAT.
