Adhere to the requirements of the NMC Code of Conduct at all times during and post course completion Adhere to Trust and Local Policies and Procedures To undertake training as necessary To complete an assessment of vulnerability for individuals who come into contact with the criminal justice system and offer signposting, support and referrals To assess, plan and implement care plans for individuals whilst taking account of their physical, mental health, social circumstances and lifestyle choices To act in a manner that respects the customs, individuality, values, sexuality and spiritual beliefs, activity, to support the individuals to fulfill these To work with individuals to promote mental and physical well-being while challenging health inequalities Ensure individuals receive information in an appropriate format and in a person centered way To present and take appropriate action, escalating concerns to an appropriate professional or expert, where the situation is outside of your sphere of knowledge To be aware of and work to the principles of the Mental Health Act (MHA) To create and maintain professional supportive relationships with all members of staff, with other professionals and agencies to enhance recovery Act as a role model to nursing associate students, colleagues and people who use our service
