What we’re looking for...
The Continuous Improvement Facilitator plays a pivotal role in driving the "Brilliance in the Making" program, reporting directly to the CI Manager. This position champions continuous improvement across the site, primarily within manufacturing, by actively leading projects and driving ownership. The facilitator will build organizational capability by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities, managing focused projects, and developing and delivering training. This includes providing on-the-job training to new team members.
The facilitator will serve as a role model, embodying the tools and techniques of the "Brilliance in the Making" journey. A key objective is to integrate continuous improvement into the site's operational DNA, benefiting both the Manufacturing teams and the facilitator's professional growth.
As Continuous Improvement Facilitator your responsibilities will include;
* Proactively facilitate the improvement of our Safety and Quality culture, leading by example in the delivery of our number 1 and 2 priorities within the business.
* Provide facilitation for the Brilliance in the Making framework; this will include leading and sponsoring focussed improvement projects as well as facilitating situational problem solving on a daily basis with the shop floor teams, striving to achieve root cause and putting in place ‘100 year fixes’. Ensuring all activities are performed cross functionally to maximise engagement.
* Extending employee engagement through supporting the TRACCS that are actively running, aiding and coaching the teams to deliver their action plans and roadmaps on time. While also building motivation and ownership through tiered accountability ranging from Short Interval Control through to the Daily Operations Review.
* Facilitate the delivery of training courses across the north site(s) and multi-levels of the organisation from Technical Operator to Production Manager, in line with the Brilliance in the Making roadmap, working with the CI Manager and external providers.
* Using data to drive decision making and prioritisation, actively seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and build into the Brilliance in the Making roadmap. Driving root cause problem solving to be embedded into the business as usual culture.
* Working collaboratively with the Technical Training Facilitators to support in the roll out and delivery of SOP training and validation, ensuring any improvements made are captured and relevant documentation updated.
What you’ll bring...
The successful candidate will have;
* Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in a CI / Lean role
* Lean (CI) or 6 sigma green belt or equivalent qualification
* Experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
* Degree in Lean or an Engineering field
* People Person (can build relationships and communicate clearly with all levels)
* Proactive approach to driving improvement opportunities
* Can understand and analyse data to drive decision making
