Our Electricity North West Services team have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join them based in Preston. Our role As the Project Manager you will safely manage projects in accordance with scope, budget, programme and quality constraints, ensuring project income and costs and contract variations and change are controlled and actioned in a timely manner. You will also manage the on-site operational efficiency and performance of the ENWS and subcontractor construction teams, ensuring excellent customer service is being delivered by the ENWS team, as well as ensuring adherence to the company s safety policy, codes of practice and safety rules and full CDM compliance. You will provide regular progress reports to the Programme Manager, discussing project issues with the ENWS Leadership team and potential solutions, ensuring delivery on time. The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship. What we re looking for A HNC / HND level qualification in a relevant subject (desirable); Proven Project Management experience (essential); Experience working in the front line of a customer facing organisation (essential); Experience in managing contractors and operating a term contract (essential); Demonstrable leadership skills (essential); Have a technical appreciation and knowledge of the LV Network (essential); Hold an LV Authorisation or willing to work towards (desirable); Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills (essential); IT / mobile device literacy (essential); Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills (essential).
