Lorien's leading Investment client is looking for an Investment Performance Analyst to join our Policyholder Investment office team in the Asset Management function.
This opportunity supports the management of Policyholder Funds, covering all aspects of investment, operations, stakeholder management, stewardship, and development.
This role is based in London and will be via Umbrella.
Working in a Hybrid Model of 2 days a week on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction, and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds.
* Responsible for BAU and ad-hoc issues affecting Policyholder business.
* Assist in stakeholder management, including representation at governance forums, committees, and independent oversight bodies as required.
* Function as an Asset Management interface for the Policyholder Investment Office with internal teams including Pensions and Savings, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and Actuarial.
* Work with and support the Head of Portfolio Management and the wider team in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across With Profits.
* Assess, design, and implement consolidation and harmonisation strategies.
* Collaborate with Asset Management colleagues on areas such as Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG.
Key Requirements
* Broad understanding of all investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes, and product types.
* Knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy, and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits.
* Understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income, and alternatives (illiquid) and their application.
* Experience interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines, i.e., Actuarial, Finance, Operations, and Risk.
* Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
* Broad understanding of the legal, tax, and regulatory environment.
