They are now looking for a Senior Support Worker to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week between 6:30am and 10pm.

The Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support and ensure the safety of the young people using our client’s service. They offer a home away from home environment with additional support to enhance the skills and understandings of young people.
Planning and delivering leisure activities, you will help young people work towards their individual goals, alongside preparing their meals and refreshments and administering medication.
You will also provide exceptional leadership to your team, carrying out risk assessments and ensuring they are actively working towards the goals of those they support and meeting their health needs.
Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.
About You
To be considered as a Senior Support Worker, you will need:
- Experience of working with children and/or young people in a work setting or voluntary basis in a supervisor role
- Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection
- Good IT skills
- To hold, or be willing to work towards, the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent level 3 qualification e.g., NVQ Child Care, Health and Social Care
