We have an exciting job opportunity for a Patient Coordinator to join our ever-growing team, where you will be given the scope to deliver and add real value to the organisation. You will be dealing with referrals for the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP), providing inbound and outbound telephone and administrative support.
Every day you will…
* Contact service users following receipt of their referral, promoting the programme and offering assistance and resources, while providing outstanding customer service.
* Complete initial assessment during booking calls and triage for further coaching calls where appropriate.
* Self-manage reporting waiting lists in line with sessions available to offer.
* Handle multiple inbound call queries and register service users on to our programme, assisting patients on their journey with us.
* Manage and coordinate bookings of one-to-one and group appointments for service users within the programme.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
* Previous experience within customer care, ideally in complaints or hospitality
* Excellent IT Skills - proficiency in Microsoft packages, mainly Excel and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An ability to deal with challenging situations with customers, and provide effective solutions.
