We are seeking a Social Worker to join the Learning Disabilities Team in Walsall, where you will be working full time with adults in need of care and support. This role is part of the Adults Social Care - Learning Disabilities Team. You will work 37 hours a week and should read the attached JD before submitting your application. Your main purpose will be to improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs and their carers. The role involves conducting thorough strengths-based assessments, planning, and direct work in line with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant guidelines. Additionally, you will undertake safeguarding duties to protect vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect, practising social work in a transparent, safe, and ethical manner.
