Lanark Close Short Breaks Service provides support for adults living in the Borough of Stockton-On-Tees with an identified Learning Disability.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker - Shift Lead.
In your role as Shift Lead, you will ensure the well-being of the people who access the service, including where appropriate direct care, and to enable people to become as independent as possible during their short break at Lanark Close.
The role of a Shift Lead involves the leadership and planning of the shift, allocating duties to the support workers, safe administration of medication, ensuring that each person receives an individualised service within a safe and stimulating environment.
This is a part-time role of 35 hours per week, working 105 hours over a 3-week rota. The actual salary for the role is £27,076.76 - £28,435.14.

All you need to be a success is:
* Relevant Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
* Experience of working directly with adults who have a learning disability
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Empathy and a passion to support others
* Enhanced DBS clearance
