A leading Children’s home provider is seeking a talented and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of our 4 bed Children's Home in Warminster. This home is an EBD service with 2 girls living there currently.
My client supports the growth of our Registered Managers and offers continuous training and development opportunities to support the progression of your career with us. Many of their Registered Managers have progressed into Regional Managers and some further into Divisional Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* You will be accountable for delivering high quality care within the home, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.
* You will be responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
* Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
* You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth, and lasting change.
* Responsible for mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care-focused training to QCF level 3, performance reviews, and appraisals.
* Service development, budget, and financial performance of the home.
* The protection, safeguarding, and promoting the well-being of our children and young people.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a similar environment at a Senior level.
* Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's workforce.
* Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young People's management qualification).
* Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989 and Children’s Home Regulations.
* Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic leader.
* A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
* Experience of budgets and financial management.
* Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
* Full driving licence is essential.
* Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
