Job Purpose: As the Business Development Manager, you will be selling a range of products and services within a business-to-business environment, both over the phone and face-to-face, with the focus on winning new clients. Your efforts will be primarily based on establishing and obtaining new clients, to increase revenue from sales, while nurturing business relationships to cross sell and therefore, support the overall business revenue target. Key Responsibilities: Achieve monthly 'New Business' targets by acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing ones. Identify and build relationships with clients through calls, networking, and referrals. Meet activity-based KPIs and work with decision-makers to develop strategic relationships. Deliver compelling presentations on all IT products and services. Efficiently manage contract negotiations and close deals. Stay informed on developments for accurate sales forecasting. Evaluate market information, competitor activity, and client responses for strategic sales approaches. Skills and Experience Previous B2B outbound telesales experience in a technical / IT / software services environment. Success in high-growth, entrepreneurial team environments. Achievement of new business targets and exceeding KPIs. Effective networking, deal-closing, and after-sales management skills. Quick grasp of new technologies and their business value. Resilience and tenacity in a fast-paced environment. Positive, motivational personality with a big-thinking mindset.
