As a Product Development Analyst, you’ll collaborate with product owners and the technology team to drive continuous improvement of both internal and external digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in gathering requirements, analysing current business processes, and helping to design solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document current processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions.
2. Requirement gathering: Through collaboration, capture, priorities, and refine requirements to support ongoing delivery through agile development processes.
3. Project team support: Act as a key member of project teams, driving technology improvement initiatives across the business.
4. Team meetings: Organise and participate in regular meetings to shape and manage your team’s backlog of work items.
5. User story creation: Write clear user stories, including specifying requirements and acceptance criteria (training and support provided).
6. User experience collaboration: Partner with product insights specialists, UX designers, and UI designers to create seamless and engaging user experiences through wireframes, mock-ups, or prototypes.
7. Issue resolution: Collaborate with stakeholders to address, document, and resolve live issues or defects.
8. Team player: Contribute to the performance and success of the Product team.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Product Development Analyst, you’ll be driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results. You’ll have a deep understanding of the products and services offered by Good Energy and can confidently prioritise tasks based on their value to the business. Your proactive, solution-focused mindset allows you to navigate challenges and facilitate key conversations at the right moments.
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
2. A “can-do” attitude, eager to problem-solve and facilitate the right conversations at the right time.
3. Highly organized and proactive with exceptional attention to detail.
4. Comfortable with continuously learning new skills, tools, and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends.
5. Experience building business process maps (preferably with Microsoft Visio).
6. Familiarity with Good Energy’s current systems and core business processes.
7. Experience in testing new systems, processes, and reports.
8. Comfortable working with data and a curiosity to explore how Good Energy can better utilize its data for innovative solutions.
