Job Title: KS1 Teacher Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £140 - £180 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents Create a positive learning environment conducive to the academic and social development of students Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and well-being Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage a classroom and support student learning Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in Key Stage 1 Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of child development and learning theories Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working with students with special educational needs Working Conditions: Work primarily in a classroom setting Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work required for school events Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
