As part of the the Acute Respiratory Team you will identify patients that may need some therapeutic input to assist them to be ready to leave hospital .
the Acute respiratory Team are present on the medical and surgical wards as well as the admissions unit. The successful applicant will independently assess patients (as per competencies), provide any rehabilitation and/or equipment to support their return in to community

Main duties of the job
You will carry out planned programmes of health care, under the supervision and direction of the Therapists within the Acute Respiratory Team. The role involves delivering therapy interventions to patients within Harrogate District Hospital. You will support our cohort of patients to achieve their optimum level of independence and quality of life to return to community living. To work under the guidance of the senior staff within the team and actively participate in continuous professional development and service improvement.
