Performance Improvement Lead

About this role
The Performance Improvement Leader will work in partnership with operations and functional teams to deliver key initiatives to improve business performance.
You will be a performance partner to operations manager to ensure that any improvements implemented are standardised and sustained within operations teams.
You will continually push the boundaries for performance and be a leader in driving significant cost efficiency to drive action and delivery in alignment with the business plans. This role will have an on-call duty once in 3.
Other key responsibilities include:
* Developing and coaching the cultural change and get to Zero stops & Zero Waste.
* Facilitating and leading plant and process problem solving.
* Being a performance partner to shift managers with joint accountability for results of the line (c/o time, OEE losses LS / SS, other stops including material quality).
* Being a functional partner to the shift managers well practised in the tools and methodologies to apply (e.g. Loss & Waste analysis, RCPS, DMAIC).
* Coaching of intact team on trouble shooting tools.
* Providing performance data and drive continuous improvement activities into weekly planning meeting to ensure preventative maintenance plans are robust & align with losses.
* Leading strategic improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology (e.g. 5Why, FT-DMAIC, Yellow Belt, Green Belt etc).
* Leading loss & waste agenda provides data & performance insights and a clear strategy to prioritise improvements.
* Supporting capital expenditure projects – Being the key interface with contractors and project engineering on asset and process improvement projects.
* Being accountable for effective Contractor Management on site (Performance, Compliance etc.).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate to all levels across the plant.
* Experience working in a process environment with evidence to demonstrate ability to develop effective working relationships with partners and cross functional teams to deliver organisational effectiveness and improved business performance.
* A consistent track record of utilising manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, lean six sigma, reliability centred maintenance Fastrack DMAIC, AM broad-plan.
* To have or be willing to work towards a NEBOSH and a qualification in Brewing & Distilling qualification however this is not crucial.
* A Full clean driving license is crucial for this role.
