Part-time Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
* Advertising for vacancies
* Arranging interviews and feedback
* Issuing offer documentation
* DBS Checks
* Checking eligibility to work in the UK
* Obtaining references
1. General HR:
* Payroll - Check Payroll for any anomalies and authorize sign off
* Liaise with staff/managers to resolve any payroll queries
* Monitor probation periods and offer documentation
* Create contracts of employment
* Issue contractual change letters (mainly regarding change of hours)
* Monitor expiration of Right to Work dates and undertake process to renew or dismiss
* Deal with acceptance or resignations
* Issue grievance and disciplinary letters as appropriate
* Advise on generalist HR issues, using FSB as necessary for more complicated issues (e.g., redundancy)
* Issue salary review letters
* Liaise with East Sussex Apprenticeship scheme as appropriate (once or twice a year)
