£40,000 Basic + commission (£70,000 OTE) + Benefits - Hybrid role
I'm hiring a Key Account Manager on behalf of a London-based ground-breaking technology business that is revolutionizing the way enterprises build their applications. My client is an established global market leader in data technology, trusted by thousands of companies such as banks, finance houses, insurance companies, and government departments, including most of the FTSE 250 and Fortune 500. This is a thriving fast growth scale-up with plenty of opportunity for career development.
ROLE
* Main point of contact for 15 existing cross-industry blue-chip global customers.
* Proactively upsell and cross-sell new and enhanced products and services to customers.
* Identify and close sales with new buying points, thereby increasing the company’s commercial footprint with each customer account.
* Adopt a partnership approach, develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers up to C-Level, especially customer procurement and legal teams.
* Negotiate new pricing and Master Software Licensing Agreements (MSLA) to ensure efficient renewals of existing and securing new licenses.
* Deliver accurate and time-sensitive robust solutions using Salesforce.
* Proactively research, identify industry trends, and be cognizant of developments within each customer, specifically changes which may influence customer buying behavior.
* Prepare reports and presentations using account metrics and forecasting for both the customer and internal company teams.
* Ensure the CRM (Salesforce) is up to date with accurate information.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years experience:
* Customer-facing account management experience in a software licensing/subscription SaaS/technology business.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Key Account Manager/Global Account Manager/Senior Account Manager working with FTSE100, Fortune500, global banks/finance houses.
* Commercially astute, proven ability to identify and close new opportunities by being their point of contact and trusted advisor.
* Building strong relationships with tech users.
* Agility working in a fast growth/scale-up expanding business.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Curious and learning-focused mindset.
* Deep understanding of what a real team player/net contributor is.
Desirable Skills
* Fluent in French and/or German.
