About the role
VMO2 are undertaking a large programme of works to create a new IT platform to support PAYG and migrate its existing customer base onto the new platform. A key element of this transformation, affecting a number of IT systems and customers, is the development and execution of a migration approach to allow existing customers and their services to be moved to the new platform.
The role will manage the execution of the agreed technical and commercial approach to migrating customers from the legacy platform to the new platform in a customer-centric manner. It will require significant thought leadership and strategic analysis, as well as strong planning skills. It will require a deep understanding of the business challenges associated with successfully deploying complex IT changes, customer migrations, and the mitigations required, as well as having a good insight into how these changes affect the wider business and the customer. It will require significant cooperation across a number of different work-streams and 3rd party organisations. The person will have project and business experience delivering complex change within large organisations.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
* Experience of working on migration programmes and ideally knowledge of the Netcracker BSS application.
* Proven track record of successful project delivery using formal Project Management Methodologies.
* Strong stake-holder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior business leads.
* Strategic thinker - able to set direction for migration approach.
* Proven track record of working with multiple IT suppliers.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring:
* High level understanding of legal and regulatory impacts on the telco industry.
* Proven track record of delivering change across various business areas - e.g., Finance, Customer Service, Retail, Fraud, etc.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Strong communications skills - ability to translate complex technical issues into business language.
