As a Hardware Technician, you will be key to ensuring that ANGOKA's hardware products are built, tested, and maintained to the highest standards, supporting the development, troubleshooting, and optimisation of our secure communication devices. Your role will involve hands-on assembly, testing, and quality control, as well as collaborating with engineering teams to refine and improve product performance. What you will do: Work with and support the Hardware team PCB Assembly, rework and modification PCB Testing and fault finding Unit/system assembly and testing Workshop management, maintenance and stock control Generation/completion of technical reports (test reports, inspection testing) Developing workshop processes and procedures Build and maintain ANGOKA demonstration units What we are looking for: 2 years experience working in an electronics workshop/lab environment HND/HNC level education in electronics (or similar) A good understanding of electronics, particularly digital and microcontroller based systems Experience and skills soldering down to 0402 sized components. Both hand soldering and using reflow equipment. Experience with creating cable harnesses and wire crimping Experience with a range of test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analysers, PSUs Multimeters etc) Proficient at electronics fault-finding and repair Experience with mechanical assembly A collaborative mindset. Strong problem solving skills and an eagerness to learn It would be great if you had any of the following, but not essential: Knowledge of Altium Designer Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing process (3D printing, injection molding, machining) Experience working with RF products Knowledge of Embedded C/Python and Linux ANGOKA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
