The impact you will have in this role : As a member of the Derivative services product management team, the Business Manager and Third Party Engagement Director provides support to the European General Management and the RDS business with a variety of activities in the following areas, but not limited to: Regulatory Oversight, Business Oversight and Strategy, Client Engagement and Third party engagement Your Primary Responsibilities : Regulatory Oversight Support: Support the management of regulatory relationship and upcoming regulatory changes. Provide oversight for the NCA/TR relationship (Europe only). Act as primary operational contact for regulators and liaise with internal teams as necessary. Business Oversight and Strategy: Support the day-to-day oversight management, including providing supporting meetings such as Business Review meetings and Board. This will include ensuring that effective SLAs are in place with intra-group and external suppliers, and that performance under these SLAs is monitored and meeting expectations. In addition, this role will ensure that the services directly operated by the entity collectively meet the overall delivery expectations for a TR. Ensure vital SLAs are in place and performance under them is actively handled. Coordinate with the other licensed TRs operated by DTCC, and the internal supplier companies including DTCC Deriv/SERV and DTCC corporate functions, and the functional heads within the GTR legal entity. Oversee the prioritization and delivery of enhancements and new service offerings by the legal entity. Accountable for supporting the operating model. Support the management of ad-hoc projects as required by the business. Provide TR incident management support as necessary. Client Engagement: Management of operational interaction with the relevant TR clients and acting as a critical issue point, partnering with client facing functions. Participate in client facing industry events as required. Third party engagement: Overseeing risk exposures related to DDRIE third party providers and material subcontractors Determining which ICT third party service providers are critical to DDRIE and coordinate with other relevant areas to ensure they have relevant critically controls applied. Engage with Third Party Risk groups, vendor relationship owners and Legal teams to ensure third party engagements and contracts confirm with relevant DORA legislation requirements. This will include ensuring that effective SLAs are in place for relevant third party suppliers as well as intra-group. Monitoring of performance under these SLAs for relevant contracts and to ensure they are meeting expectations. Identify, prevent and manage actual or potential conflicts of interest arising from the use of ICT third-party service providers. Escalating any issues that may arise. Accountable for maintaining the relevant documentation related to DDRIE’s third party engagements. Support the existence, testing and evidence related to exit plans for any third party contracts. Support the regulatory relationship and provide any third party regulatory materials required Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
