Hours: Guaranteed 1040 hours per annum with the possibility of additional hours to meet service requirements.
Employees are required to work throughout the year with rotating hours, including split shifts during term time, scheduled from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 18:00.

Moorside Plus, managed by the governing board of Moorside Community Primary School, is dedicated to offering outstanding wrap-around care for children aged 3 to 11 years. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Wrap Around Childcare Manager to collaborate with our current Manager in our growing service and established dynamic team.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
As a wrap around Childcare Manager, you will work collaboratively with the existing Childcare Manager, reporting to the School Business Manager. Together, you will strive to continuously improve the service offering and outcomes for children. Your role will involve delivering high-quality childcare during Breakfast, Afterschool, and Holiday Club sessions. You'll be instrumental in ensuring children have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience before and after school and during holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and oversee the provision of high-quality play experiences occurring in breakfast, afterschool, and holiday clubs
* Plan for the continuing growth and development of this provision
* Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service and offer support and care to children and their families
* Work with and support staff in all aspects of the provision to ensure effective delivery of the care curriculum
* Ensure the provision meets the needs of the users
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with children aged 3 years and above in a formal childcare setting
* Competence in collaborative work and team supervision
* A passion for creating a nurturing environment where children can explore and have fun
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and adults alike
* The capability to keep precise records, registrations, contracts, and attendance data
* An understanding of child development and the ability to plan engaging activities
* Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility regarding the safety and welfare of children
* Flexibility in working hours as required, including evening and holiday hours
* An eagerness to engage in continued professional development
