Road Traffic Solutions are one of the largest national providers of Traffic Management services within the UK, and have over 150 employees delivering a quality service 24/7. RTS cover all aspects of Traffic Management including consultancy, planning, drawing and delivery, via a national network of service centres. We are currently seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and enabling the SLT to focus on strategic initiatives. This role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and flexibility. The Executive Assistant will be a trusted partner, handling sensitive information and providing both administrative and professional support as required. Key Responsibilities: Calendar Management - Coordinate and manage daily schedules (including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements). Travel Coordination - Organise complex domestic and international travel itineraries (including flights, accommodation, ground transportation and other logistics). Meeting Preparation - Prepare agendas, briefings, presentations, and materials for meetings, including minutes as needed. Event Planning - Assist in planning and organising internal and external events, conferences and team activities. Project Support - Provide support for key projects, including research, preparing reports, tracking progress, and following up with internal and external stakeholders. Expense Management - Handle expense reports, track receipts, and manage reimbursements. Gatekeeping - Act as a first point of contact for internal and external communication, ensuring that inquiries are addressed professionally and efficiently. Skills Required: Proven experience within a similar role. Time management - Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure strict deadlines are met. Attention to detail- Ensure accuracy in scheduling, correspondence, and task management to an excellent standard. Document Management - Ability to organise and maintain confidential records and reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professionalism - Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality; demonstrating discretion and integrity.
