The Company: Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with a fantastic Teesside based organisation who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is an amazing opportunity for finance candidates who have already or are looking to take their next step in supporting Management Accounts. Great opportunity to gain some quality mentoring into the role. The Role: Bank reconciliations to maintain financial records up to date Process invoices, payments, and receipts with precision. Maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system. Credit control VAT returns Assistance with Management accounts To aid the business in a growth trajectory and identify inefficiencies in current workflows and suggest actionable improvements whilst adopt best practices. The Person: Ideally working towards achieving an accounting qualification (AAT) various levels considered dependant on experience. Prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role. Familiarity with financial processes. Proficiency in accounting software, MS Office and particularly Excel.
