We're seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistants, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while also providing valuable support within the classroom. This is a long term position.
Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (temp to perm opportunity)
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Hours: 08:45 am – 15:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Salary: £85.00 - £90.00 per day
As a SEN Teaching Assistant within our SEN school in Leatherhead, Surrey you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities will include:
Assisting SEN pupils 1:1 in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within mainstream classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development.
Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will possess:
Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students
A genuine passion for education and a dedication to promoting every child's well-being and academic success.
Right to Work in the UK Full Time
Able to commit to 08:45 – 15:15 in Leatherhead, Surrey
