About The Role: You will be part of the Twisted Theatre team, supporting the build and development of our area. We are looking for someone interested in Set Design / Set Dressing to support the design, build, install and dressing of the multiple immersive secret venues run by Twisted Theatre at Love Saves the Day. Key Responsibilities: You will be supervised by Ruby Pugh (Artistic Director of Twisted Theatre) on all of your placement days. Any task you are set will be fully explained and talked through by one of our core team with a chance to ask questions throughout the completion of the task. You will be assisting Designer Alice Sales on the design and making the interiors of the secret venues. Following the ideas from concept to completion. The planning days will include: shopping, painting, sewing, creating and prepping the interiors ready for the install days. The on site days will include: Painting, building, installing and decorating the interiors of the venues. You will also be given your own design task where you can come up with a concept of your own and use a small amount of allocated budget to create your own installation within a small tent. This is where the 4 hours of ‘homework’ come in as you will need some time to research and present your idea.
