Senior Cloud Engineer Location: London (remote) Outside IR35 Length: Initial 3 month contract About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer, who will be will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the audio broadcast cloud infrastructure primarily within AWS. This position will also involve collaborating with development and cloud teams across the business to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the production environment. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain audio broadcast cloud infrastructure in AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and CI/CD automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture, optimize workflows, and ensure governance alignment. Apply expert knowledge of AWS, containerized environments (e.g. Docker), and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure performance and cost efficiency. Implement best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps, including observability, security, networking, API integration, and disaster recovery. Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership, ideally with experience in broadcast workflows, audio/video streaming, and Agile methodologies. Key Requirements: Extensive proven experience of AWS Cloud and knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP. Proven experience in a containerized environments (docker etc ) and associated tooling such as Gitlab etc. Proven experience in coding with a programming/scripting language (e.g. Java, Golang, Python, Bash). Background in Broadcasting/Media/Radio or Video is essential. Extensive proven experience of AWS Cloud and knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP ADZN1_UKTJ
