HR Business Partner (14-Month Fixed-Term Contract) – Sharp Europe

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic business? Sharp Europe is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Business Partner to join our team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to contribute to key HR functions, supporting managers and employees across various HR disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on HR policies and support managers in employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, mediation, and performance management processes.
* Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure best practices across the organisation.
* Collate training needs and deliver policy training sessions to managers, promoting the GoodHabitz training platform.
* Provide administrative and advisory support for SEE recruitment processes, ensuring efficient handling of all related activities.
* Manage monthly payroll processing in collaboration with the external payroll provider and Payroll Supervisor, including new starters, leavers, bonus payments, tax declarations, P11Ds, benefits, and pension changes.
* Oversee the management of all starter and leaver processes, including induction training and maintaining HR data on the HRIS system.
* Manage long-term sickness cases, including Occupational Health coordination.
* Provide guidance on employment law, including TUPE, restructuring, and redundancy processes, ensuring managers fully understand all requirements.
* Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring accurate data and PowerPoint presentations are available in a timely manner.
* Maintain HR records and files effectively, including the HRIS database.
* Support the European HR Director in performance management, training, and development initiatives and assist in preparing for European meetings when required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven HR experience in a business partnering role.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience with payroll processes, employee relations, and HR policy development.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and influence managers at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in HR reporting and data management.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
* Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience /Qualifications – Essential
* Payroll experience minimum 3 years
* Strong experience of HR admin and assisting with day-to-day HR issues
* Sound experience in advising managers on ER matters such as disciplinary & grievances, redundancy, flexible working etc.
* Experience of managing own workload and require minimum direction
* Excellent verbal and written skills
