If you are organized, enthusiastic, and eager to develop your career in bookkeeping, we’d love to hear from you Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include: Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Process accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements. Payroll Support: Assist in preparing payroll documentation and ensuring timely payments. Reporting & Analysis: Generate financial reports for management. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Compliance: Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory filings. Ensure financial practices adhere to relevant laws and company policies. Administrative Support: Manage invoices, receipts, and other financial documents. Respond to financial inquiries from colleagues or vendors. Qualifications & Skills Essential: Basic bookkeeping knowledge and familiarity with financial principles. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Desirable: Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance, or a related field. Understanding of the technology consultancy industry. AAT qualification or working towards a similar certification.
