A detail-oriented UK-based, hands-on Network Practice Lead with significant experience working for a value-added reseller (VAR) or managed service provider (MSP) is required to join a leading IT solutions and services provider during a period of growth and success.
The role is home-based, with candidates able to claim mileage for travel to offices or client sites. Candidates must be UK-based and able to travel to either the Wokingham or Leeds office as needed.
Note: Recent and substantial experience working for a small to mid-sized VAR or MSP is essential for this role.

The Role:
As the Network Practice Lead, your main focus will be to develop resilient, scalable, and modern product offerings and go-to-market strategies, while engaging with key clients as the practice grows. You will drive the development of cutting-edge WAN and LAN networking technologies and shape new service propositions, making a significant impact on the company's future offerings.
This role is client-facing but requires strong technical expertise. You should be commercially aware, an excellent communicator, and capable of engaging with stakeholders from C-Suite to Board of Directors.
Vendor agnosticism is crucial. You should have comprehensive knowledge of multi-vendor networking solutions, including traditional WAN, cloud-delivered WAN and LAN architectures, and security and connectivity concepts. You will build client network strategies, linking business propositions like cloud networking, with a customer-centric approach focused on outcomes.
Required Experience:
* Extensive knowledge of major networking vendors: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, HPE Aruba, NVIDIA (Mellanox & Cumulus).
* Recent and substantial experience working for a small to mid-sized VAR or MSP.
* Deep knowledge of virtualized network functions (NFVs) and cloud network virtual appliances (NVAs).
* Hands-on ability to build networking environments with security best practices and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python.
* Experience managing large-scale network delivery projects and third-party vendors.
* Proven success in IT, with a track record of developing teams and individuals.
* Strong understanding of security and connectivity, especially in hybrid cloud environments.
* Experience delivering change initiatives aligned with business strategies.
* Experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, and go-to-market planning.
