We’re on the hunt for a seasoned Sales Trainer who thrives on developing sales people at every
stage of their recruitment career. If you have a passion for coaching sales people, a knack for
innovative sales techniques and tools, you have a background in training and teaching a sales
first 360 recruitment methodology, and a drive to build the next generation of recruitment
leaders, this is the role for you.
About the Role:
As the Sales Trainer, you will play a critical role in shaping all of SR2’s talent. You’ll be hands-on
working directly with consultants at all levels, guiding rookies through their journey to
recruitment pros as well as fine tuning more experienced consultants. This isn’t your typical
sales training role—you’ll be embedding cutting-edge sales techniques, fostering a culture of
high performance, and driving rapid growth through bespoke coaching and development
programs.
This is a unique opportunity to work from our London office (with occasional travel to our Bristol HQ) and be at the forefront of sales training innovation, helping us scale and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Training & Development: Lead the end-to-end sales training of new starters, focusing
on modern 360 recruitment sales techniques and consultative selling.
Identify areas for development from working closely with all teams and create training
sessions as a result of your findings.
Coaching for Excellence: Provide 1-2-1 coaching, desk side support, call coaching and
tailored group sessions, helping consultants build confidence, refine their skills, and
achieve consistent performance.
Building Recruitment Experts: Develop and deliver comprehensive sales training
modules on the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and market mapping to closing
and client relationship management.
Sales Mastery: Embed cutting-edge sales practices, leveraging social selling, digital
tools, and advanced negotiation techniques to create high-performing teams.
Call coaching: Support individuals LIVE on the sales floor with call coaching and instant
feedback to hone and develop their sales techniques and call quality.
Performance Optimisation: Track and analyse progress, providing regular feedback
and actionable insights to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Cultural Champion: Foster a growth mindset and a culture of excellence, aligning
trainees with SR2’s mission, values, and high standards of performance.
Innovation & Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh, forward-thinking ideas to enhance our training programs and learning materials.
About You:
* You have extensive experience in sales training to 360 recruitment consultants, with a proven track record of developing rookies, improving experienced high performing consultants and helping seniors reach new heights.
* Your focus is will be on training sales skills and business development skills fit for purpose in today’s multi-channel market.
* You’re at the cutting edge of recruitment sales techniques, well-versed in modern sales strategies, including social selling, digital outreach, and consultative selling approaches.
* You’re a natural coach and mentor, passionate about helping others succeed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* You bring a data-driven approach to training, using performance metrics to inform coaching strategies, design training sessions and demonstrate impact.
* You have a growth mindset, always looking to innovate and improve training programs to stay ahead of industry trends.
