The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking to recruit a full-time, proactive, dedicated Radiology Digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lead to work as part of a friendly, supportive team.
The successful candidate should have experience with digital pathways and AI programmes working in healthcare application management with experience of IT application service and support and a good functional knowledge of IT systems and concepts. Understanding of clinical pathways, multidisciplinary working and the impact of access to medical imaging is essential as well as the importance of data, data structures, confidentiality and the use of data.

Main duties of the job
The Radiology Digital and AI Lead will be responsible for managing the radiology operations and clinical use of all digital workflows. This includes leading the PACS/RIS team, current and upcoming AI software projects and Radiology lead of all digital workflows at all sites of RSFT and the network. The role will ensure the professional discipline of programme/project delivery with RSFT's teams. The Digital and Radiology AI Lead will engage with clinical and digital teams and will be responsible for reporting programme delivery (including any risks and mitigation) to the Head of Service/ Professional Lead for Radiology.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* Minimum of degree level with either a Masters degree or equivalent experience.
* Post Graduate Qualification in Image Reporting
Knowledge Essential
* A proven track record of service improvement and/or operational management.
* Experience of AI in the Radiology setting.
* Evidence of managing programme and service change at a senior level.
* Ability to coordinate the scheduling, phasing and delivery of projects.
* Extensive NHS experience.
* Extensive PACS/RIS experience.
* Extensive Radiology Digital Workflow experience.
