Applicants for the position should:
* Work as part of the maintenance team, providing maintenance of used equipment such as lathes, drills and milling machines. Calibrate machinery as and when required and follow engineering drawings if needed. Carry out any maintenance duties required according to the Quality Management System and inspecting work on an ongoing basis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide planned preventive maintenance.
* Provide reactive maintenance of production machinery.
* Repair, replace or manufacture parts via milling, turning, grinding.
* Monitor performance of machinery and equipment.
* Manufacture parts for new production machinery.
* Adjust and calibrate machinery as needed.
* Assist with any other tasks as required within the business within your skills and experience.
* Conduct maintenance repairs to building, internal fittings and systems, including general DIY.
* Maintain a good level of personal presentation.
* Actively follow company policies.
* Observe the company’s Fire and Health & Safety Policies.
* Maintain housekeeping standards.
* Exhibit good team working skills.
* Work on own initiative.
* Demonstrate a polite, friendly nature.
* Show commitment and dedication to job duties and the company.
* Exhibit excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Applicants for the position should have:
* Maintenance experience.
* Mechanical experience.
* Experience with lathes, drills, and milling machines.
The salary will be between £27,000 and £30,000 depending on experience. Relevant training will be provided. The working hours will be 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
After successful completion of 3 months, we offer a free Health Scheme, Life Insurance, and a Pension scheme (employer contributions 5%). Yearly attendance bonus.
Holiday entitlement is 22 days plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 23 days after 1 year of service, 24 days after 2 years, and 25 days after 5 years of service.
