Job Title: Mobile Fire Engineer

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Carry out planned and fault diagnostic work to various Fire panels and Intruder panels.
2. To carry out PPMs on Intruder, Fire, EML.
3. To carry out small works when required.
4. Participation in the out of hours call out rota.
5. Work flexible hours to suit business requirements.
6. Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, other engineers, end users on site, and the Public at all times.
7. Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a team to ensure we meet our client contract expectations.
8. Collaborate with other engineers and site staff to arrange site access to required working areas.
9. A flexible approach to supporting other resources as required.
10. Work with Management to assist with the Fire & Security growth.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and capable engineer with previous experience in fire, security, CCTV, and access control systems. You will have a good range of experience in different sectors and hands-on experience with tools. We are looking for an engineer who has the ability to take on and understand new products and technology. You will be easy-going but hardworking and need to be friendly and approachable when dealing with others. You should be comfortable working in a range of environments with minimal guidance.
You will need to be flexible schedule-wise and set an example of excellent quality when installing fire and security systems. Although we aim to keep our team operating as close to home as possible, we will require our staff to travel with occasional overnight stays when required. Working hours vary, but are Monday to Friday, predominantly office hours. However, working outside normal hours will be a requirement due to the nature of a 24/7 business.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Essential:
1. Good Knowledge of BS5839-1:2017, PD6662.
2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation.
5. Full driving licence.
6. The ability to satisfy BS7858 and enhanced DBS checks.
Desirable:
1. Experience in a similar role and working sectors.
2. FIA Modules (if not training will be given).
3. ECS/CSCS Card.
