Remedicare Staffing are currently searching for an experienced Home Manager to join a Luxury Nursing Home in the Spalding area specialising in elderly care.
Home Manager vacancy details:
1. £60,000 + (DOE + Qualifications).
2. 40 hours per week contracted.
3. Small sized care home registered to 40 service users.
4. Great reputation.
As the Registered nursing home manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently maintained. The successful candidate will lead and support a skilled team, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements. The role will involve all aspects of managing the home, from care planning and quality assurance to staff development and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing strong leadership to the care team, fostering a culture of compassionate and person-centred care.
2. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs of residents, with a focus on dementia care.
3. Maintaining and improving CQC ratings by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
4. Managing the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
5. Overseeing care planning, medication management, and risk assessments to meet residents' needs safely and effectively.
6. Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
7. Managing the home's budget and resources to maintain financial sustainability while delivering exceptional care.
8. Ensuring the home is a welcoming and homely environment for residents and visitors.
Registered Manager Skills/ Experience:
1. RGN / RMN qualified with active NMC PIN.
2. Preferably 2+ years of managerial experience within an Elderly Care Home setting.
3. Have a good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding and care plans.
Registered Manager Duties will include:
1. Being responsible for ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents whilst promoting their interests and understanding their needs.
2. Effectively managing your staff, providing guidance and ongoing supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff and continually developing and encouraging your team.
3. Having commercial control and working closely with the Customer Relations Team to ensure that optimum occupancy is maintained in your home by creative marketing strategies ensuring cost control over fees and staffing.
4. Regularly liaising with residents and their families to ensure consistent care is provided throughout.
