You will have the opportunity to drive the implementation of new I&C supply and solutions products from concept through to launch and go live. Once live you will monitor product performance and look to ways to continually improve delivery, whilst identifying regulatory or commercial risk to current business practice and deliver improvements. Where you fit in Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager I&C, the role requires working with the SEUK Operations, Sales, Commercial and IT teams to bring new I&C supply and solution products through implementation as a fully functioning product supported by our systems, robust processes and reporting within the Operations area. The successful candidate will have an analytical mindset, be commercially focused and possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, all underpinned by possessing an excellent knowledge of our operating systems, particularly Junifer. What’s the role? The I&C Operations Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring that new products developed meets all the customer service and operational needs of the customer in a way that is manageable and scalable for the Operations teams to deliver. The role will also have responsibility to ensure that current operational practices support the profitability of the business, focusing on revenue protection, adherence to regulatory processes and understanding the impact of industry change on the customer experience. Key responsibilities include: Deliver Controls Responsible for applying deep technical understanding of the gas supply customer journey to proactively seek opportunities to implement operational best practise to support portfolio growth in line with SEUK target and delivery of contract margin. Defining and implementing a revenue protection framework, to ensure operational processes for portfolio account health including metering and read management operate in line with industry best practise to support timely recovery of > £40m monthly revenue. Design, build, implement and maintain a robust business recovery plan, where a process breach is identified, ensuring any customer reconciliation is completed, and business processes improvements are completed in a timely manner. Build Customer specific solutions: Build and deliver non-standard solutions to customer specific requirements at the point of all I&C energy supply tenders worth >£10m contract value. Define the system delivery capability / feasibility at the conceptual phase to find a commercially viable outcome to these requirements. Deliver New Product Implementation: Accountable for defining detailed operational requirements for new products across all customer journey touchpoints. Champions the product vision and ensures the plan is in line with the vision and goals and continues to be fit for the purpose throughout the roadmap delivery. Responsible for identifying, documenting, and executing the appropriate level of testing and review of new products to ratify that the solution delivered meets the specified requirements. Responsible for the creation of new product material for operational requirements and ensure this is delivered and embedded within front line operational teams. Responsible for the communications strategy for all new product changes that impact customer experience. Drive continuous improvement through conducting in-depth, regular product reviews, ensuring opportunities are executed to deliver incremental value. What we need from you: Deep knowledge of I&C Flexible Supply Products at subject matter expert level. In depth knowledge of UK I&C customer base, ability to identify and differentiate requirements based on sector, fuel type, metering type and billing requirements, including group billing, invoice documentation and supporting information. Proven understanding of industry processes and regulations that will shape and guide the creation of a scalable operational solutions. Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining robust I&C Flex operational processes across the customer journey - onboarding through to invoicing – within agreed parameters. Prior experience of translating customer and/or broker requirements into scalable operational solutions that support SEUK strategic objectives. Expert knowledge of CRM solutions and systems that support the delivery of the I&C flexible supply product. Ability to work within ambiguity, demonstrating agility and flexibility in approach to delivering the optimal solution. High level of commercial awareness including analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Enthusiastic and driven with a learner mindset – able to achieve stretching deadlines. Interpersonal skills: Strong team player Ability to work at pace, maintaining high productivity without compromising accuracy or quality. Ability to assess and action competing priorities when working through peaks in demand. Good communicator with the ability to be assertive and influence at all levels.
