A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced mental health manager to work across 2 small learning disabilities & mental health homes in the Stockton on Tees area. The homes provide residential care for younger adults who have a mental health condition and/or learning disability. They are centrally located and close to local transport links, providing easy access from the local areas. They are rated GOOD with CQC and support independent living for their residents.
You will support the teams within these homes in day-to-day business and care needs while building and maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and local authorities. My client is looking for somebody with existing experience of working with a Learning Disabilities/Mental Health client group, and challenging behaviour experience is also desirable. They are looking for an established Manager to join a progressive provider who shares good care values.
Skills and Experience for the Role of Registered Manager:
1. Commitment to delivering high quality care & NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management
2. Previous managerial experience in an LD residential setting
3. Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills
