You will also work on a rotational shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure IT systems run optimally around the clock.RoleAs a Service Desk Support Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime for users and delivering high-quality technical support. Key responsibilities include:
1. Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, networks, and more.
3. Assist with onboarding new users, including hardware setup and account configuration.
4. Document support requests and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
5. Develop knowledge base articles and user guides for improved troubleshooting.
6. Monitor system alerts and perform routine checks to maintain IT service performance.
