Our client, a dynamic private equity-backed leisure business, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support their Guildford-based finance team. The business is experiencing rapid growth and requires a finance professional to bring strong technical skills, strategic insight, and operational efficiency to help steer financial performance and reporting during this transformative phase.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
* Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
* Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, cost efficiencies, and revenue opportunities.
* Support budget and forecast preparation, ensuring alignment with the business’s growth objectives and strategic goals.
* Stakeholder Management
Cash Flow and Financial Planning
* Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital and support the business’s expansion needs.
* Contribute to long-term financial planning by modelling financial scenarios and assessing potential investment opportunities.
Process Improvement and Control
* Review and streamline current financial processes, implementing efficiencies where possible.
* Ensure all financial controls align with PE-backed requirements, including risk management and compliance with regulatory standards.
Ad Hoc Projects
* Work on ad hoc financial projects, such as system upgrades, acquisition integration, or finance transformation initiatives, as directed by the CFO or Finance Director.
