About the Role:
We have partnered with a Farnborough based company seeking a System Design Engineer to contribute to multiple Cyber and Information Assurance (IA) development projects. This role is perfect for those who thrive on solving complex, real-world problems and developing innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead system engineering and technical activities across one or more IA development projects.
* Collaborate with subsystem teams across Hardware, Software, FPGA, and Mechanical disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
* Provide technical support for bid proposals and product development.
* Manage requirements engineering and ensure technical coherency across design disciplines.
* Partner with Technical Project Managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Oversee the full development lifecycle from concept through verification.
What You’ll Need:
* Sole British Nationality (due to UK Eyes Only project requirements) and eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC).
* Proficiency in the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, and validation/verification.
* Solid understanding of multiple design disciplines with expertise in at least one area.
* Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
* Experience using DOORs for requirements management.
* Background as a Hardware/Software/Electronic engineer or similar role.
