We are delighted to support a valued client in their search for an HR Officer to join their dynamic team in Coventry on a 3-6 month temporary assignment, with the potential for a permanent position!
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established company in a busy yet friendly environment, reporting directly to the HR Manager. You'll play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of day-to-day duties within the HR Department, contributing to the success of a company with circa 150 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries.
✅ Conduct new starter inductions and facilitate recruitment activities.
✅ Assist with absence management, meetings, and return-to-work interviews.
✅ Prepare contracts and offer letters for new employees.
✅ Maintain the Clocking Machine System and support payroll processes.
✅ Ensure HR paperwork is accurately filed and organized.
✅ Support HR-related projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
🎓 CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified or possess relevant HR experience.
🏭 Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred.
📊 Strong Excel skills for maintaining accurate records.
